Access and login FAQs

  • Can I get a login to Teacher Support?
  • If you work at a registered Cambridge school, please contact your Teacher Support Coordinator who will be able to set up an account for you.

    If your school is not yet registered for access to the website you will have to apply for access:

    Cambridge International schools: please apply to CIE - see for further details.

    Cambridge Associate schools: please contact your British Council or Cambridge Associate to arrange access.
  • What is on the Teacher Support Site?
  • Teacher Support provides Cambridge schools with access to a wide variety of resources to enable them to deliver Cambridge qualifications more effectively. These resources include syllabuses, schemes of work, teacher guides, past question papers, Mark Schemes, FAQs, discussion groups and example candidate responses.
  • Do I have to work at a Cambridge school to use Teacher Support?
  • Yes, access is only available to staff at Cambridge schools. It is not available to individuals or to students. Access to the site is restricted to teachers in order that they can make best use of resources (e.g. Mark Schemes and past papers) which are not freely available to their learners.
  • Why can't I log into the site?
  • Either your username is wrong or your password is wrong. Make sure caps lock is off and you have entered both correctly. If it still doesn't work, ask your Teacher Support Coordinator to check your username and/or reset your password.

    It is also possible that your login has expired if you have not used the website for a long time. In this case, please contact your Teacher Support Coordinator.
  • Why doesn't my email address work anymore as my username?
  • The first time you log into the site, your email address will still work and you will then be sent a new username by email. On all subsequent occasions you will have to use your new username.

    We have changed the usernames to make the site more secure.
  • What happens if my email address has changed?
  • Click on 'Edit User profile' at the top of the page and you can supply up to two email addresses that we may use to contact you. It is important that we have up to date email addresses that we can use to contact you.
  • I have forgotten my password.
  • Please contact your Teacher Support Coordinator in your Centre who will be able to reset it for you.

    If you are a Teacher Support Coordinator from an attached Centre, please contact the Teacher Support Coordinator at your Distributor Centre.
  • I have forgotten my username.
  • Please contact the Teacher Support Coordinator in your Centre, who can tell you what it is.

  • What are the technical requirements for this site?
  • For most of the material you will need Adobe Acrobat. The latest version can be downloaded here.

    Certain resources will require Flash Player; to install the latest version click here and follow the instructions.

    Some material is in the form of compressed zip files and you may need a utility such as Winzip to extract the contents.
  • What if my school already has access but I do not?
  • If your school already has access, please contact the person who has been nominated as your Teacher Support Coordinator; they will be able to give you access to the service. You must agree to our User Terms and Conditions to use the site.
